About Your Condition
Cervical Disc Herniation
A condition where a nerve or the spinal cord itself becomes compressed by a fragment of the intervertebral disc. Patients report pain, numbness, tingling, or weakness.
Cervical Stenosis
A condition where the passageways for nerves in the neck become narrow over time. Patients develop pain, stiffness, numbness, tingling, and loss of function.
Cervical Myelopathy
A serious condition wherein the spinal cord becomes compressed and leads to several problems, including difficulty with walking, weakness, and loss of function.
Thoracic Stenosis
A condition where the passageways for nerves in the mid-back become narrow over time. Patients develop pain, stiffness, numbness, tingling, and loss of function.
Lumbar Stenosis
A condition where the passageways for nerves in the lower back become narrow over time. Patients develop pain, stiffness, numbness and tingling in the legs, difficulty walking, and loss of function.
Lumbar Disc Herniation
A condition where a nerve or a bundle of nerves becomes compressed by a fragment of the intervertebral disc. Patients report pain, numbness, tingling, or weakness in the legs.
Scoliosis and Spinal Deformity
A group of conditions that involve the abnormal growth of cells in or around the spinal column or spinal nerves which can lead to structural instability of the spine, spinal deformity, weakness, and loss of function.
Spinal Tumors
A group of conditions that involve the abnormal growth of cells in or around the spinal column or spinal nerves which can lead to structural instability of the spine, spinal deformity, weakness, and loss of function.
Spinal Trauma
Injury to the spinal column or spinal nerves that affect spinal stability or neurological function.

For the 10% that need surgery, Dr. Rasouli pioneered doing cervical and lumbar artificial disc replacements in an outpatient setting.
